Configurable Fault Domain Host Balancing

Oracle Cloud VMware Solution now supports configurable fault domain host balancing for single availability domain SDDCs and clusters.

By default, ESXi hosts are evenly distributed across fault domains to maximize availability. You can disable balancing when creating an SDDC or cluster, or when adding, replacing, or upgrading a host, enabling OCVS to place hosts in fault domains with available capacity. Host fault domain details and cluster balance status are available in the Console and API.

This feature is not supported for deployments with more than one availability domain. Disabling balancing can reduce availability.
